Salem Community Events will be having a Flag Day parade this year. This event will be on Saturday, June 8th. The parade lineup starts at 9 AM at Salem Elementary School parking lot located on Salem Road south of Six Mile. The parade starts at 11 AM. Everyone’s welcome – clubs, church groups, local organizations, kids with decorated bikes, horses, classic cars, motorcycles, hayrides, and tractors are all welcome in the parade. Fireworks at dusk. There will be a Food Truck after the parade that will provide the same type of food that is normally offered at the fireworks.
