Houghton Lake Fireworks

Sounds like this year there will be *two* simultaneous fireworks displays in Houghton Lake. This is what I got:

We are excited to announce our tentative plans for the 2023 fireworks display & 4th of July Celebration this year in Houghton Lake. At this time our permits are still pending with the DNR & we are working on finalizing small details for the event. We will provide updates as they are available.

This year there will be 2 fireworks displays in 2 locations on Houghton Lake! One display will be shot off on the lake 1/2 mile out from the DNR boat launch on Townline Rd. Thanks to a generous donation of $16,000 from Houghton Lake Provisioning Center, we are able to add a 2nd display in the East Bay! Both fireworks displays will be launched simultaneously on Saturday July 8th, 2023.

Also new this year we are invite the community & visitors to join us at Trestle park for a 4th of July celebration! We plan to have the rd leading to the park closed down to allow room for food, music & family fun preceding the fireworks display at that location.
